Hello & Welcome!Oh gosh I’m so sorry for the lack of activity in May. I’m not really sure where all of my time went but I was a little busy.
Anyways, swiftly moving onto game updates and I finished Tenshi Souzou Reboot. This was my first Yuzusoft game and, while there were definitely places where the game was great, I was a little underwhelmed considering the hype the brand gets. Like the game wasn’t terrible but neither was it spectacular, just kinda average but with great production values.
I then played Rurizakura, a short all-ages title from Lump of Sugar & Smile. I thought it was a decent for what it was – it told a limited-scope story, had nice artwork and a voiced protagonist which is always a bonus. Overall a good game.
Ambitious Mission was up next and I was expecting sleek phantom thief shenanigance and instead got economics lmao. Either way, great heroines and good story. I enjoyed this game and have bought the fandiscs. Atena is the best heroine~
Finally, I got around to playing Houkago Cinderella 2 and I’m conflicted. It’s hard not to compare it to the original game, which is better in most aspects. While the heroines are top-tier (as per usual Hooksoft), the protagonist is genuinely one of the most annoying I’ve met in a while.
I’m currently playing Da Capo 2 Spring Celebration and it is also a bit of a difficult one to rate given how segmented the game is. That being said, it’s nice to spend more time with the heroines.
My plans after this are basically fandiscs for the next month, haha. Seriously, the only games I bought in June are three fandiscs/side stories.
I should hopefully be back to a review every week or two now. It’s hard to balance play-time with writting time but I’ll get there (which I’ve been saying for years at this point, lol).
